About Luna

Our family in New York: Alli, Bertie and our children Lucien and Nina.

For thirteen years, home was Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn, NY. It’s where we raised our kids, and somewhere along the way we picked up a habit: sparkling water, and lots of it. New York has an endless variety, and we tried most of them.

When we moved back to Australia we settled in quickly, but one thing was missing. Every sparkling water we found here was loaded with sweeteners or “natural flavours.” We wanted something that tasted real, kept us hydrated, and didn’t come with added sugar or chemicals.

So we made it ourselves.

Our drinks in the wild

It started in our kitchen with lemon and grapefruit before we took it to a lab and small co-packing company in Melbourne. It sounds simple, and it is: sparkling water and real juice. But getting it right took more tries than we can count.

Luna takes its name from our kids, Lucien and Nina, and funnily enough, our wedding song.

Lemon and Grapefruit are just the beginning. We’re already experimenting with other flavours, and we can’t wait to share with you what comes next.

Thanks for drinking with us!
